It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marguerite A. LaFarr of Astoria, New York, born in Brooklyn, New York, who passed away on February 28, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Burke and Margaret Burke (Seibel); her husband Henry; her son Joseph "Buddy"; and her brother Robert Burke (Jean).
She is survived by: her children, Margaret LaFarr, MaryEllen Bayliss (Darren), Colleen LaFarr (Frank Pardi) and Henry LaFarr (Vanita); her grandchildren, Meaghan Valis, Sean Valis, Burke Layden, Sara DeLuke, Emily Bayliss, Anthony LaFarr and Keagan LaFarr; and her sisters-in-law, Carolyn Bentley, Margaret Culver, MaryEllen Havern and BettyJean Padgett. She is also survived by husbands, along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
