He is survived by: his wife Patricia Gleason Smith; his children, Cynthia Carlson (Chad) of Lakewood, Tracy Lehnerd (Jim) and William Smith, Jr. (Sandra) of Ashville; his grandchildren, Rebecca Carlson of Frewsburg, Kaylee Carlson of Miami, FL and Alexis Hendrix (Mason) of Summerville, SC; his children, Olivia Dorman (Ed Jr.), Mitchell Smith (Alicia Logue) of Jamestown and Matthew Smith (Alexandria) of Ashville; and his great grandchildren, Cayden, Auria, Jamie, Orion, Jaxson Smith and Owen Hendrix.
