It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Pontius of Ashville, New York, who passed away on August 18, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Pontius and Georgia Pontius (Arledge); and his siblings, Harold, Jim, Mary Forquer and Norman Pontius Jr. Bob.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia A. Pontius (Foreman); his sons, Rick (Darlene), Craig (Denise) and Tom Pontius (Wanda); and his grandchildren, Jenny, Devan (Jason Pontius), Ryan Pontius (Tracy Rieke) and Brandon (Nicholas Pontius). He is also survived by 9 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
