He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene K Rieg and Elsie Pearson Rieg; his son Damian Rieg; his sister Eleanor Brown (Christine Barnes Rieg); and his granddaughter Victoria Rieg.
He is survived by: his children, Mark Rieg (Theresa) and Gretchen Parker (Lane); his grandchildren, Ricky Jervah, Jennifer Jervah, Joshua Rieg (Rebecca), Catricia Atangana (Onana) and Cassandra Rieg; and his great grandchildren, Freddy Lamb, Christine Lamb, Ophelia Rieg and Nolan Atangana. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Riccardi's Hubert Funeral Home (111 S Main St, Jamestown, NY 14701). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Church (380 E Fairmount Ave, Lakewood, NY 14750).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital or the Lucille Ball Little Theater.
