It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jack Hayward of Ashville, New York, born in Emporium, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 31, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John B. Hayward and Geraldine Hemphill Hayward; and his brother William B. Hayward. He is survived by: his wife Shirley M. Harriger Hayward; his children, Alan J. Hayward of Ashville, Douglas Hayward (Eloisa) of Illinois, Julie Garvey of Ashville and Janine Johns (Matthew) of Washington, PA; and his grandchildren, Chelsea Johns, Dylan Johns, Aaron Garvey, Tamara Hayward and Diego Lopez.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorial donations be directed to the Fenton History Center in Jamestown, NY.
