He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Fardink and Erma Odell Fardink; and his siblings, Margaret Rooney, Garrett and Gary Fardink.
He is survived by: his brother-in-law Frank Kelsey; his wife Susan Smith Fardink; his children, Robin Seekings (Andy) of Mayville, Charles Fardink, Jr. (Stacey) of Ashville, HopeAnne Bailey (Kevin) of Lakewood, Jason Fardink (Crystal) of Parma, OH and Jill Fardink of Ashville; his grandchildren, Josh, Beth, Nikki, Cassi, Alyssa, Brittany, Kate, Samantha, Mark, Charlie, Ben, Sena, Allie and Jack; his sisters, Alberta Allenson of Mayville and Amy Hayes of Sumter, SC; and his pet Tigger. He is also survived by eleven great grandchildren.
