He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Robert and Edith DeWald; his children, Elizabeth, Nicholas and Michael; and his siblings, Mary and Paul.
He is survived by: his wife Colette of Ashland, NY; his children, F. Robert, Matthew, Edward, Terence, Rebecca and Liza; and his grandchildren, Elizabeth, Connor, Benjamin and Mateo. He is also survived by sister and two brothers, and approximately 60 nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, October 20th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM at the Decker Funeral Home (5312 NY-23, Windham, NY 12496). A funeral service was held on Monday, October 21st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Theresa of the Child Jesus Church (5188 NY-23, Windham, NY 12496).
