He was predeceased by: his stepgrandson Paul Battaglia. He is survived by: his wife Bertha Dora Schlickman of White Plains; his sons, John Leinung (Elaine), Mark Leinung (Jill) and Matthew Leinung (Cynthia Miller); his grandchildren, Daniel Leinung (Kellie), Kristen Cook (Kevin), Andrew Leinung (Erica Drennan), Eric Leinung, Brinton Leinung, Kathryn Glickman (Ross) and Caroline Leinung; and his great grandchildren, Benjamin Leinung, Lydia Cook, Jackson Leinung and Alice Leinung.
