He is survived by: his children, Melinda (Matthew Gillette) of Canaan, CT, Geoffrey Carlson (Claire Dixon) of Simsbury, CT and Brandon Carlson of Armonk, NY; and his siblings, Sharon Watt of Simsbury, CT and Brian (Karen Carlson) of Bantam, CT. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to support underprivileged skiers or towards the NYASBO Past Presidents Scholarship Fund.
