He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor Zaldivar and Maria Elena Zaldivar (Meraz). He is survived by: his wife Renata Zaldivar (Trapp); his children, Elena Zaldivar, Xavier Zaldivar (Giselle) and Ian Zaldivar (Kathryne); and his siblings, Victor Zaldivar (Pamala), Mario Zaldivar, Raul Zaldivar (Norma), Jesse Zaldivar (Goldie) and Maria Guerrero (Ruben). He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, niece, nephews and godchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Brown & Powers Funeral Home (354 Canisteo St, Hornell, NY 14823-1014). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Bender-Brown & Powers Funeral Home (354 Canisteo St, Hornell, NY 14823-1014). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St Helens Roman Catholic Church of South Gate, California (8912 S Gate Ave, South Gate, CA 90280).
Donations in George's memory can be made to the LA Zoo, where the Zaldivar's were family members for many years.
