He was predeceased by: his parents, Ellsworth Hintz and Alice Hintz. He is survived by: his wife Nellie Hintz of Ballston Spa; his daughters, Elizabeth, Sheilah (David Clark) and Kateria Hintz-Ellis (Robert); and his sisters, Diana and Marilyn of California.

Memorial donations may be made in his name to the Open Door Mission, 226 Warren Street, Glens Falls, NY 12801.
