He is survived by: his children, Ronnie Dessaint (Donna) and Katherine Scott (Andy); his grandchildren, Eddie Gentry (Andrea), Ronnie Dessaint Jr., Jordan Dessaint, Tyler Howell and Miller Scott; and his sister Pat Noxon. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
