He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Carl Butterfield and Mary Butterfield; his wife Elna; his children, Paul Butterfield (Patricia) and Phyllis (Stephen Klapps); his grandson Ethan Butterfield; and his siblings, Carl, Ted and Linna (Brosseau).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Argyle Presbyterian Church.
