He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Stephan and Mae Stephan (Romanoski); his son Thomas Stephan, Sr.; his granddaughter Lauren Stephan; and his sister Joan Moltasanti.
He is survived by: his wife Gladys Leemans of Queens, NY; his children, Paul Stephan of New York City, Grace Jordan of Greenwich and Ronald Stephan of Greenwich; and his sister Lois Aling (Gordon). He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
