It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David William Lufkin of Argyle, New York, who passed away on February 23, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Lufkin and Mary "Busy" Lufkin (Williamson); his parents-in-law, Lawrence and Goldie Ives; and his son David.
He is survived by: his wife Cecelia Ives Lufkin; his children, Patricia (Sherm Hammond) of Argyle, Jill (Sean Healey) of Argyle, Joe (Beth Lufkin) of Argyle and Amy (Mark Kingsley) of Argyle; his grandchildren, Janet Hammond Townsend (Will), Sherm (Lyndsie), Scott Hammond (Kailynn), Chris, Kyle Seeley (Gabbi), Amanda Cordiale (Tom), Joey (Miranda), Kobe, Peyton Lufkin, Lillianna, Lucas and Lacy Kingsley; his great grandchildren, Celia, Chloe, Silas Townsend, Asher Hammond, Parker, Carson Hammond, Chris Jr., Carter Seeley and Nolan Siskavich; his sisters, Ruby Komarony and Jean Lufkin; his siblings-in-law, Sandra Lufkin, Lawrence "Duke" (Sue), Mark (Sue), Peter Ives (Pat), Helena Ives Boucher (John) and Natalie Ives; his brothers, Carl and Harold Lufkin (Carol); and his brother-in-law Daniel Komarony. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
