He was predeceased by: his parents, Thaddeus Sipowicz and Jean Bullock (Sipowicz); his former wife Carolyn (Sleight); and his brothers-in-law, Richard Murray and J. David Rothermel.
He is survived by: his wife Susan Sipowicz (Siaulnski); his stepdaughters, Leslie Prevost (Steve Sexton) and Christina Pichler (Heinz); his grandchildren, Alee Woodcock (Coby), Derick Prevost (Shelby Suddard), Zack Prevost (Carlea), Lily Prevost and Cyrus Pichler; his great grandchildren, Makayla Prevost and Brooklyn Prevost; and his siblings, Debbie Granger (Mike), Diane Murray, Denise Rothermel, Dennis Sipowicz (Denise Coe), David Bullock (Steph Rathbun) and Deidre Bullock. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Gerald B. H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery (200 Duell Rd, Schuylerville, NY 12871). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Hudson Falls American Legion Post #574.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Dan's name, to the Argyle Emergency Squad, 15 Sheridan St., Argyle, NY 12809 and/or any Veterans support organizations or charity of one's choice.
