She was predeceased by: her parents, Ida Dessaint (Patten) and Harvey Dessaint; her grandparents, James, Evelyn Patten (Walsh), Delbert and Rosida Dessaint (Martin); her children, Stacy Lyons and Fred; her brothers, Danny and Larry; her uncle Raymond Patten; and her siblings-in-law, Marilyn and Richard Fleming.
She is survived by: her close friend Steve Francis; her son Ronald Godfrey (Jennifer); her grandchildren, Felicia Godfrey Richard (Dakota) and Tyler Lyons; her siblings, Sandra Touart (Frank), Sharon Bello (Marty), Roxane Dorsey (Mike), Karl (Penny), Mark and Jackie Beard (Bob); her sister-in-law Susan Dessaint; her aunt Elaine Benson; her pet Yorkie; and also Penny. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the M. B. Kilmer Funeral Home- Argyle (123 Main St, Argyle, NY 12809). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A celebration of life was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the American Legion (72 Pearl St, Hudson Falls, NY 12839).
