He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruth Sapienza and Carmine Sapienza; and his brothers, Richard McCauley, Edward, Joseph and John Sapienza.

He is survived by: his children, Kevin, Christopher (Michele), Tommy (Suzanne) and Melissa (Christian); his grandchildren, Kayla, Theresa, Christopher, Anthony, Sofia, Gabriella and Nico; and his great grandchildren, Riley, Liam and Eliana.
