Lewis Arthur George Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lewis Arthur George (Arcade, New York), who passed away on July 31, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Romain George, and Laura George, Sr. (Schwab); his former wife Eleanor George (Reisdorf); his children, Daniel George and Joanne Matusik (Steve); his stepson Douglas Smith; and his siblings, Paul George (Doris), Earl George (Doris), Cletus George (Barbara), Rita Meyer (Charles), Romain George, Jr. (Ruth), Leon George (Mary Jane) and Norman George.

He is survived by: his wife Lois George (Smith) of Eagle; his daughter Donna Keem (Kevin "Butch") of Bliss; his stepchildren, Rick Smith (Jenn) of Wyoming, Lorianna Kester (Paul) of Eden and Lisa Hartwell (Dale) of Delevan; and his sister-in-law Viola George of South Wales. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
