The memory of Elma P. (Tillinghast) Wheaton of Arcade, New York, who passed away on March 23, 2025 at the age of 91, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Dawson and Hattie Dawson (Peterson); and her husband Richard Wheaton. She is survived by: her children, Sandy Steiner of Curriers, Gary Tillinghast (Margo) of Springville, Debbie Kenyon (Joseph Sumbrum) of South Buffalo, Jean Vallance (Michael Lates) of Arcade, Skip Tillinghast (Amy) of Arcade, Rodney Tillinghast (Karen) of Raleigh, NC and Laurie Kemp (Keith) of Portville; and her nephews, James Norton and Richard Thomas. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the W.'s. Davis, Inc. Funeral Home (358 W Main St, Arcade, NY 14009). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the W. S. Davis Funeral Home (358 W Main St, Arcade, NY 14009).
