She was predeceased by: her parents, William Henry Abbott Jr. and Evelyn W. Abbott (Taylor); her husband Charles R. Newman; and her brother William Abbott, III. She is survived by: her son Andrew Barrey (June) of Oregon; her stepchildren, Robert Newman of Arcade, Margaret Wiedemann (Michael) of Arcade, Kathryn Miller (Steven) of Arcade, Elizabeth Newman of Maryland, Amy Newman (Merritt Jr.) and Smith of Maryland; and her sister Mary Baldwin of Florida. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
