He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto Ludwig and Gertrude Ludwig (Schuster); his former wife Priscilla "Sue" Ludwig (Caborn); and his siblings, Paul Ludwig and Trudy Royce.
He is survived by: his wife Anne Ludwig (Milo); and his children, Mark Ludwig of Chaffee, Karen Bray of Arcade, Laura McBurney (Gerald) of Clover, SC and Julia Rockwood (John) of Thousand Palms, CA. He is also survived by his eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
