She was predeceased by: her parents, Valentin August and Frances Schultz Schmidt; and her brothers, Ralph V. Schmidt and Peter F. Schmidt. She is survived by: her nephew William Schmidt (Leslie); her great-nieces, Kaitlin, Elizabeth and Alexandra; her great-nephew Andrew; her nephew John Schmidt (Monica); her great-nephews, Christopher and Michael; her great-niece Kimberly; her niece Debbie Schmidt; her great-nephew Luke; her nephew Daniel Schmidt (Jennie); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Walton and Emma; and also Marigold.

In lieu of flowers, please donate to the SPCA on her behalf.

Her career in the healing profession also helped change so many lives for the better. She will be truly missed.”
