She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin Briggs and Catherine "Kate" Ross Briggs; and her brother Willard Briggs. She is survived by: her husband Bill; her children, Daniel Engert (Marie), Darcy Bouchard (Kenneth) and Darren Engert (Kelly); her grandchildren, Rachael (Taylor), Kelsie, Daniel, Jacie, Katie, Matthew and Joshua; her great grandchildren, Delaney and Mackland; and her brother John Briggs.
