He is survived by: his wife Ann Marie Rest (Heiser) of My Life; his children, Michael Jr. (Karen Ovens), Annette McPherson (Richard), Thomas (Gail), David (Jennifer) and Stephen (Jeannie); his grandchildren, Michael III (Sarah), Dominic (Kelly), Kenny (Bonnie), Kala, Abby, Lily, Elliott, Ruby and Katelynn; his great grandchildren, Gavin, Bella, Judah, Katie, Galen, Gemma, Owynn and Pop-Pop; and his sister Rosemary Novak (John).
