With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marie F. Tassey of Apalachin, New York, born in Brooklyn, New York, who passed away on July 2, 2022. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Donnelly and Josephine Donnelly; her husband George Tassey; and her brother Daniel Donnelly. She is survived by: her children, George Tassey (Janet), Kevin Tassey (Marie), Kathleen Olbrys (Donald), Karen Tassey (Alan), Brian Tassey (Joy), Marie Stark (Robert) and Gerry Tassey (David); and her siblings, Joseph Donnelly and Genevieve Cordes. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Apalachin Volunteer Fire Department, P.O. Box 572, Apalachin, NY 13732 in her memory.
