It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Ogden Tilton of Apalachin, New York, born in Conneaut, Ohio, who passed away on September 23, 2024, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though James may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those James touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. He was predeceased by: his parents, Wesley Ewing Tilton and Julia Elizabeth Ogden Tilton; his wife Marlenna Kay Tilton; and his brother David Wesley Tilton. He is survived by: his son James Edward Tilton of Johnson City, N. Y.; his grandson James Ogden Tilton (Michelle) of Chester, VA; his great grandchild Wesley William Tilton; and his sisters, Julie Ann Tilton of Woodbridge, VA and Carol Ann Tilton Bauman of Parker, CO. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
