It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Hyde of Apalachin, New York, born in Barton, New York, who passed away on June 7, 2023, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Hyde Sr. and Lillian Hyde (Sturdevant); his sister Myrtle Donnelly; and his pet Gizmo. He is survived by: his wife Susan Hyde (Gee); his children, Mary Bowerman (Bobby), Nancy Vassar (Walter), Christina Ceurter, Kimberly Ceurter (Anthony), Serenity Byrd and Janae Byrd; his siblings, Edward Hyde (Diana), Robert Jr. Hyde (Maria), Gordon Hyde (Bonnie), Charles Hyde and Roberta Hust; and his friends, Hans Hansen, Lynn Gulley and Frank Wilcox. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
