He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Derwood and Margaret; his wife LesLea Pitcher (Staley); his children, Pete, Karen Scovell (Rob), Dan and Matt; his grandchildren, Dylan, Wyatt, Jordan, Hunter, Coulson and Connor; his siblings, Zeruah Jane, Priscilla Powley (George), Norman (Susan) and Nancy; and his siblings-in-law, Connie Cherry (Tom) and Hugh Staley. He was also cherished by several other nieces, nephews, cousins.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests a donation in Dave's memory to the Apalachin Fire Department/EMS at 230 Pennsylvania Avenue, Apalachin, NY 13732.
