He was predeceased by: his father Howard Truby Sr.; his brothers, Gordon Work (Nancy) and Dave Truby (late Mary Jane); and his sister-in-law Deborah Rowlands. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Truby; his children, Julie Heimburg Sr. (Steven) and Howie Truby; his mother Earla Truby; his siblings, Barbara Fox (Richard), Wendy Fox (Michael), Carol Valvo, Martin Truby, Cathy Nesterowicz (John), Susan Zurawski (George), Jeff Truby (Gina) and Kenneth Truby; his siblings-in-law, Sandra McLaughlin (Bill), Patricia Ellis (Jim) and Michael Flower (Marcia); and his grandchildren, Carley, Steven Heimburg Jr. and Trevor Truby. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
