He was predeceased by: his spouse Shirley Stephens; and his brothers, Bobby Stephens (Ingrid) and James "Whitey" Stephens (Ida). He is survived by: his children, Jeffery Stephens (Cheri), Darlene Best (Bruce), Christopher Stephens (Sherry), Mark Stephens (Kristen) and Nancy O'Neill (James); and his siblings, Kenneth Stephens (Mary), David Stephens (Dorothy), Donald "Mooch" Stephens (Debbie), Alwood Stephens (Kathy), Patty Ellenburger (Gene), Linda Matlack (late Bing) and Dorothy Woodring (late Woody). He is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild, many nieces, and nephews.
