With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Catherine L. Doering of Angola, New York, who passed away on June 13, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As Catherine departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Catherine may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Catherine leaves behind.

She was predeceased by : her husband Robert E. Doering; her parents, Florence Newman and Wayne Newman; and her brother Arnold Newman. She is survived by : her sons, Gregory C. O'Brien Jr. and Christopher J. O'Brien; her sister Alice Clark (Frank); and her grandchild Declan James Galen O'Brien. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, June 18th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Addison Funeral Home Inc. (262 N Main St, Angola, NY 14006). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, June 18th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location.
