She was predeceased by: her parents, Erwin Lyon and Theresa Lyon (Brunell); and her grandson Jacob Stickle. She is survived by: her husband Frank Martel; her children, Karl Lyon (Lauren), Duane Martel (Kristy), Dawn Stickle (Shaun) and Daryl Martel (Tristan); her grandchildren, Kylei, Caiden, Keigen, Jade, Justin, Nathan, Cameron, Caleb, Hannah, Ty, Shaun Jr., Alex, Blake, Peyton and Troy; and her siblings, Kevin (Ginny), Keith Lyon and Katherine Ashby (Philip Sr.). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Peck & Peck Funeral Homes (8063 NY-22, Copake, NY 12516). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
