He was predeceased by: his parents, David James and Margaret E. Bradt Bonafede. He is survived by: his wife Melissa C. Boncore; his brother Thomas A. Bonafede (Nancy) of Fonda, NY; his parents-in-law, Frank Boncore (Maureen) of Buffalo, NY and Joyce Kuzara (Eugene) of Sun City; and his sisters-in-law, Michelle Busick (Steven), Renee Scalzini (Gregg), Nicole Besancon (Bart) and Jeanna Szablicki (Peter). He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Montgomery County SPCA, PO Box 484, Amsterdam, NY 12010.
