She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Makarowski and Mary Kocan Makarowski; her husband Peter P. Persico; her sister Barbara Bielawa; and her brother-in-law Roman Bielawa (Raymond Garrison).

She is survived by: her children, Peter J. Persico of Miami Beach, FL, Brian M. Persico (Nancy) of Amsterdam, Paula M. Salatel (Jeffrey) of Johnstown and Deborah Scarfo (Paul) of Meriden, CT; her grandchildren, Brooke Scarfo, Paul Scarfo (Kelsey), Brittnie, Brianna Persico, Joseph and Jeffrey Salatel; her great grandchildren, Owen Sweeney, Lorelai Ogilvie and Carter Joy Scarfo; and her sister-in-law Rosemary Garrison. She is also survived by Nieces, nephews and cousins.
