He was predeceased by: his parents, Watson Baumes and Doris Baumes (Batty) of Charleston; and his son Robert William Baumes Jr.. He is survived by: his son Brian Watson Baumes; his wife Linda L. Wadsworth; his daughter Robbien Quill (Joe); his stepdaughter Amy Sager; his niece Angela Baumes; his siblings, John Baumes, Sandra Baumes, Irene Baumes and Martin Baumes; his great grandchildren, Nicholas Robert Quill (Amber), Victoria Clouthier, Zoe Reinhardt (Josh), Tyler Ahrens (Kelly), Christian Brian Baumes (Kelsey), Justin William Baumes (Kourtney), Melanie Kate Quill, Amber Deborah Booth, Ethan Michael Baumes, Taryn Skye Baumes, Allison Leigh Booth and Eric Douglas Putman; and also, Zatia, Saadia, Kyle, Keagen, Brantley, Abel, Landon Chase, Evan Ray, Kaylee Avery, Mavie Lee, Eion and Elijah. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren.
