We are sad to announce that on October 1, 2022, at the age of 93, Robert E. Thackrah of Amsterdam, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Thurlow Thackrah and Ethel Borst Thackrah; his wife Joan Marie Fitzgerald Thackrah; his sister Beverly Wainwright; and his close friend Joan Stanton.
He is survived by: his son James "Jet" Thackrah of Amsterdam, NY; and his grandchildren, Brittany Thackrah, Shawna Garcia, Michelle Ferolie, Marissa O'Brien, Ashley and Hanna Gavel. He is also survived by six great grandchildren and one nephew.
