It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Anthony Mancini (Amsterdam, New York), who passed away on January 21, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Pasquale Mancini and Marianne Campagnano Mancini; his wife Janet Thomas; his son Robert; and his siblings, Louise Mancini Salmon, Anthony, Adam, Herman, MIchael and Alfred Mancini.
He is survived by: his sons, John Joseph (Courtney), Jeffrey (Elizabeth) and Mark (Jolynn); his sisters, Joanne Basilio (Pasquale) and Delores Caputo (Robert); his grandchildren, Jesica Tomlinson (Kevin), Taylor Backus (Steven), Jack Spencer, Joseph, Sophia, Marguerite, Dylan and Rylee Mancini; his great grandchild Brynn Backus; his close friend Nancy Alteri; and his sister-in-law Marcia Thomas. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
