It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Ellen Kolbe (Amsterdam, New York), who passed away on December 14, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Mary Ellen Kolbe to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Rose Marie Harkins (Nana Rose) and Edward F. Harkins; her husband Charles "Bud" Kolbe; her grandchildren, C. J. Kolbe and Traci Lyn Czeski; her brother Edward F; her sister-in-law Bertha Harkins; and her niece Mary Christine Harkins.
She is survived by: her uncle Joseph L. Barber; her children, Janet Czeski (Tim), Charles J. "Buddy" Kolbe (Carla), Robert J. Kolbe and Mark Kolbe (Dawn); her grandchildren, Tara Czeski, Tricia Leone (Greg), Kyle Kolbe (Lauren), T. J. Czeski (Promyse), Keegan Kolbe, Kate Boatwright (Graham) and Joe Kolbe; her great grandchildren, Taelyn, Tanner, Tenley Leone, Kaidlyn, Kynlie, Kane Kolbe, Charlie, Beckham Kolbe and Teagan Carverand Eloise Czeski; her brother Joseph L. Harkins (Marigay); and also Robin Moller.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Mary's Church (156 Main St, Amsterdam, NY 12010). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
