We are sad to announce that on March 14, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Karl J. Schmaeh Sr. of Amsterdam, New York. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Max Schmah and Elizabeth Schmah (Hildabrant); his wife Bettina Schmaeh (Clairmont); and his brother Albert Schmah. He is survived by: his children, Karl Schmaeh, Jr. (Nancy), Peter Schmaeh (Mary), Elizabeth Gannon (Lester) and Karen Schwabrow (Jimmy); his grandchildren, Jason, Matthew, Bethany, Chad, Teanna, Kyle, Emily, Andrew, Josh, Sam and Julia; his sister-in-law Renate Schmaeh; his nephew Peter Schmah; and his niece Alexandra. He is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 20th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Rossi, Bellinger & Stewart Family Funeral Home (171 Guy Park Ave, Amsterdam, NY 12010). A prayer was held on Thursday, March 20th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the same location.
