Dematteo of Amsterdam, New York, born in Schenectady, New York, who passed away on June 24, 2021, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Sebastian DeMatteo and Marian DeMatteo (Allen); his sister Yvonne DeMatteo; and his son-in-law Michael Wyanski. He is survived by: his wife Gayle A. Litchfield DeMatteo; his daughters, Sandra Lewis of Amsterdam, Toni Lynn Wyanski of Amsterdam and Christine Picinic (Matthew) of Amsterdam; his siblings, Samuel DeMatteo (Edwina) of Florida, Wayne DeMatteo (Tina) of Schenectady and Debra Phillips of Schenectady; his grandchildren, Amanda, Michael, William, Jessica and Joseph; and his great grandchildren, Vincent, Alexa, Jordynn, Cynthia, Michael III, Mikayla and Adam. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
