It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jeannine M. Acevedo of Amsterdam, New York, born in Schenectady, New York, who passed away on March 12, 2023, at the age of 54, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She is survived by: her parents, Fred Strnisa and Diana Strnisa; her sisters, Jeanette Sinkora and Jennifer Tung; and her parents-in-law, Hector, Diane Acevedo, Neal and Patricia Klein.
Her skill for calibrating and repairing both medical and agricultural equipment resulted in her being classified as an essential worker during the pandemic.
