With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Iris Torres Cupeles of Amsterdam, New York, who passed away on May 30, 2022 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Francisco Torres and Ana Maria Cupeles of Mayaguez; her siblings, Bonifacio Torres, Carlos Torres, Victor Torres, Alfredo Torres, Fernando Torres, Leida Pagan and Florencia Aviles; her daughters, Christine Martell and Rosalinda Lugo; and her husband Felipe Martell.
She is survived by: her siblings, Americo Torres of Florida, Javier Torres of Florida, Aurora Velez of Puerto Rico and Lydia Rivera of Puerto Rico; and her children, Phillip Hector Martell of Oregon, Edgar Martell of Amsterdam, NY and Ana Iris Martell of Neversink, NY.. She is also survived by close friends who couldn't care for their children, several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
