He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Louis V. Coons and Ethel E. Wyman Coons; his wife Norma J. Rivenburg; his daughters, Barbara Pawlowski (Donna) and Cathleen Cieply (Joseph); and his stepdaughters, Rebecca Kercado (Edward), Donna "Peggy" Rogers (Richard) and Linda Slezak (Anthony). He was also cherished by 17 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.
