Elda Forte Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Elda Forte of Amsterdam, New York, born in San Jose, California, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 19, 2024 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Elda leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Elda may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Ramon Montalvo and Francisca Montalvo (Reyes); her husband Severino Forte; and her brother Ramon Montalvo. She is survived by: her son Louis R. Forte (Sylvia) of Corpus Christi, TX; her grandson Timothy Forte (Kelly) of Amsterdam, NY; her great grandchildren, Alexandra and Victoria Forte; and her sister Carmen Ortega. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and many friends.
