It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Douglas R Brister of Amsterdam, New York, born in Schenectady, New York, who passed away on April 4, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his brother Brad; and his parents, Richard Brister and Delores Brister. He is survived by: his daughter Michele Sobieski (Jeff); his siblings, Jeff Brister (MaryAnn), Loriann Finn (Glen), Richard Youmans (Winnie) and DeNel; his grandsons, John and Tyler Sobieski; and his nieces and nephews, Sara, Luke Brister, Kyle, Emily Youmans and Carly Finn.
