He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Richard Raut and Delores Raut (Hare); his wife Cindy Bush; his stepchildren, Christopher Miller (Jennifer), Eric Haight (Jess), Sarah Valachovic (Brad) and Colleen Helmer (Adam); his grandchildren, Christopher Miller, Matthew Miller, Nicholas Valachovic, Joshua Miller, Lucianno Innes, Arianna Haight, Lorenzo Innes, Andrew Valachovic and Emily Miller; his siblings, Richard J. Raut and Darlene Landry (Roger); his niece Lisa Laurenzo (RJ); and his nephew William Ormsby II (Karen).
