He was predeceased by: his parents, Carolyn Carpenter, (Male) and C. Donald Carpenter, Sr.; his grandsons, Ted Arnold and Dan Marrano; and his wife Linda Miller Carpenter.
He is survived by: his former wife Mary Daniels Carpenter; his children, Ann, Arthur, Marilyn (Tim), Catherine Saracco (Vincent), Duane (Dorothy), John (Pearl) and Scott; and his siblings, Patricia Carpenter Ford and Kenneth Carpenter (Karen).
