We are sad to announce that on January 26, 2025, at the age of 102, Carson Thompson of Amsterdam, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, William J. Thompson and Ruth Thompson; his wife Ella; his son Greg (Diane); and his son-in-law Vern.

He is survived by: his children, Nancy (Dave), Pat and Jim (Linda); his grandchildren, Alan (Denise), Jon (Amy), Jonathan, Vern (Ashley), Nicole (Rob), Erin (Sean) and Katie (Steve); and his great grandchild Chloe.
