He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Leonard and Amy Leonard (Congdon). He is survived by: his wife Rose Leonard (O'Dell); his children, Tim Leonard (Lori), Michael Leonard (Alicia), Amy Hine (Eric), Caryn Leonard (Trilby) and Chad Leonard (Stephanie); and his siblings, Donna Ames (Martin Branigan) and Robert Miller (Shirley). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren with 1 on the way and 12 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Viewing was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 9:45 AM at the Perth Bible Church (1863 County Hwy 107, Amsterdam, NY 12010). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
